Apple updates all its operating systems with bug fixes, security improvements
Apple has released macOS Ventura 13.5, iOS 16.5, iPadOS 16.6, watchOS 9.6, and tvOS 16.6. All are recommended updates by the tech giant.
macOS 13.5
macOS Ventura 13.5 can be downloaded via the Software Update section of the System Settings. According to Apple’s release notes, the update includes unspecified bug fixes and security improvements. Apple recommends that all users install the software.
iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6
iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6 can be downloaded by going to Settings > General > Software Update on an eligible iPhone and iPad. watchOS 9.6
Apple Watch owners can download watchOS 9.6 by opening up the Apple Watch app on their iPhone and going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50% battery, it needs to be placed on a charger, and it needs to be in range of the iPhone.
According to Apple’s release notes, the update includes bug fixes and security improvements. Apple recommends that all users install the watchOS 9.6 update.
tvOS 16.6
tvOS 16.6 apparently features bug fixes and security improvements. The upgrade can be downloaded by going to the Settings app on your Apple TV set-top box. Then go to System > Software Update. If you have automatic software updates turned on, you will be upgraded to tvOS 16.6 automatically.
