PPSSPP Emulator Lets You Play PlayStation Portable Games On iPhone

A new retro game emulator called PPSSPP has launched in the App Store, enabling iPhone users to play PlayStation Portable games on their iOS devices.

PPSSPP which is short for PlayStation Portable Simulator Suitable For Play Portably can now be downloaded from the App Store.

PPSSPP emulator supports a wide variety of PSP games that can now be enjoyed on the iOS platform in high definition. The emulator does not come with pre-installed games. Users can convert the PSP games that they own into ISO or CSO files and play them with this emulator.

You can also play free homemade games on this emulator by downloading them from the built-in Homebrew Store.

The same emulator has already been available on macOS, Windows, Android, and Linux platforms. Now with Apple’s recent policy change regarding retro game emulators, it has arrived on the App Store. It joins the already available Delta, Bimmy, and Gamma emulators.

PlayStation fans can also download the Gamma emulator, which launched a few days ago. This emulator lets them play PlayStation 1 games on their iOS device.

You can download the PPSSPP emulator on iPhone and iPad from the App Store for free.
