iOS 17.3 Developer Beta Is Now Available Along With iPadOS 17.3 And macOS 14.3 Betas
Apple has just released iOS 17.3 developer beta 1 and it is now available for download for those who are registered Apple developers. The release of this first iOS 17.3 beta comes just a day after Apple released iOS 17.2 to the public.
Along with iOS 17.3 beta, Apple has also released iPadOS 17.3 beta, the first developer beta of macOS 14.3, tvOS 17.3 beta, and watchOS 10.3 beta. All of these are also available for download right now.
A new beta for Apple’s visionOS 1.0 has also been released bringing the total number of visionOS betas to 7. Apple is continually testing visionOS 1.0 with developers as it prepares for a first-quarter launch of Vision Pro to public in the US.
Registered developers can now download iOS 17.3 and other betas on their devices by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update and choosing iOS 17 Developer Beta from the Beta Updates page.
We will update this post if new features or noticeable changes are discovered in iOS 17.3 beta 1.
Changes in iOS 17.3
- A new Stolen Device Protection feature has been added in iOS 17.3. It adds an additional layer of security for situations when the thief knows the passcode of a stolen iPhone. When this happens the Stolen Device Protection limits access to saved passwords and requires Face ID authentication to access them. Apple ID password changing is also protected with a delay.
