Apple Releases iOS 17.1 Developer Beta Along With macOS 14.1, watchOS 10.1, And tvOS 17.1
Apple has released iOS 17.1 developer beta and it is now available for download to registered Apple developers worldwide. Along with iOS 17.1, Apple has also released other betas for testing. This includes iPadOS 17.1, macOS 14.1, watchOS 10.1, and tvOS 17.1.
If you are a registered Apple developer (paid or free), then you can now go to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Beta Updates and select iOS 17 Developer Beta. After selecting this option you will be able to download the latest iOS 17.1 beta on your iPhone and iPad.
iOS 17.1 developer beta release comes just days after Apple issued iOS 17.0.2 for all iPhone users. That update fixed the transfer issue that occurred when users tried to transfer from old iPhone to a new iPhone using the Transfer from Another iPhone option. While iOS 17.1 will be the first major iOS update after the public release of iOS 17, Apple has already issued iOS 17.0.1 and iOS 17.0.2 with crucial bug and security fixes.
iOS 17.1 developer beta’s release is still very new. We will update this post once more information about the changes introduced in this update is available.
In the UK Apple’s Wallet app can now show the current account balances by taking advantage of UK’s new Open Banking API. Currently supported banks include Barclays, Lloyds, RBS, and Starling.
