Apple Releases iOS 16.7 and iPadOS 16.7 For Older Devices, Download Now
Almost 9 days after seeding the Release Candidate, Apple has today released the iOS 16.7 update for iPhone and iPad models that did not get the iOS 17 update.
If you have an iPhone or iPad that does not support iOS 17, then you can now download iOS 16.7 and iPadOS 16.7 on your devices. Simply head over to the Software Update section of your device in order to download.
If you have been running iOS 16.7 Release Candidate on your iPhone or iPad, then you will have to update your device to today’s release. The build number for today’s releases is 20H19, which is different from the build number of the Release Candidate (which was 20H18).
No new features or major changes are expected in iOS 16.7, as this update focuses on bug fixes and security updates.
