iOS 17 Developer Beta 4 Released, Here’s What’s Changed
After releasing iOS 16.6 update to the public yesterday, Apple has today released iOS 17 Developer Beta 4 and it is now available for download. For iPads, Apple has also released iPadOS 17 Developer Beta 4.
macOS 14 beta 4, watchOS 10 beta 4, and tvOS 14 beta 4 have also been released and can now be downloaded on their compatible devices. Today’s developer beta release comes 19 days after the release of iOS 17 beta 3. The build number for today’s release is 21A5291h.
iOS 17 beta 4: Here’s what’s changed
Today’s iOS 17 Developer Beta 4 brings a number of changes to iOS 17 beta. Here are some of the noticeable changes that have been made in this update.
- A new toggle has been added which enables users to turn off the new iOS 17 AirDrop feature that allows users to share content by bringing their devices closer.
- A new AirPlay picker animation has been introduced in this new beta.
- On the lock screen users can now make the lock screen clock text even thinner compared to previous betas.
- Messages app has a tweaked layout for the app drawer. Icons for various items like Camera, Photos, Location, and more have been updated.
- TV app on iPhone has slightly tweaked buttons.
- Photo Stream feature has been removed from iOS 17.
